Our initiative on Human-Centered AI seeks to inspire and empower multi-generational change agents to use AI as a tool to learn, contribute, and thrive. One of the challenges is clarifying how to measure progress in applying AI as a tool to unlock humanity’s potential in the age of AI.
We have developed an initial survey that focuses on some key metrics that we might use in measuring this progress. Our goal is to use the survey to establish a baseline among those who are using AI. As we see how people respond—and invite them to suggest additional metrics they feel are relevant—it will help us evolve the survey to be even more useful.
Over time, we can begin to see not only where progress is being made, but also where it is not. These insights will be valuable in shaping an overall perspective on where greater impact can be achieved in unlocking humanity’s potential.
This survey will also have value at another level, as it can be used by organizational leaders to determine the progress being made within their organizations as they seek to implement Human-centric AI tools. They can compare results before launching AI-related initiatives with results gathered as these initiatives unfold. Is progress really happening? Where is it most needed? How can initiatives evolve in ways that accelerate it?

Very clever survey!
